Our Story

Northern Shield Land Management was founded by firefighter Cole Paciejewski, who has spent over a decade protecting BC communities with the BC Wildfire Service. Combining professional firefighting experience, a bachelor’s of science degree, and certification as a professional tree faller, Cole created Northern Shield to help residents proactively reduce wildfire risk while maintaining the beauty of northern landscapes.
